This short (1½-minute) video includes footage taken during rehearsals, featuring Tacoma City Ballet Company Members and Guest Artists. Take a moment to enjoy scenes from Tacoma City Ballet’s showcase of original dance, Spring Dance Extravaganza, filmed in our beautiful studio space in the Merlino Art Center. Performances are this weekend at Broadway Center’s Theatre on the Square. With seven original ballets, Spring Dance Extravaganza is a remarkable showcase of dance. This terrific evening includes live music and features the choreography of Award-winning Artistic Director Erin M. Ceragioli, Celebrated Resident Choreographer Travis Goldman, and Assistant Artistic Director Joel Myers. These three top South Sound choreographers have developed original and dynamic dance pieces for this show that span traditional and contemporary styles with something for everyone. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 3:00pm.
