I somehow missed your original message. Pilots of large aircraft with
cockpit overhead panels have for years had the same problem. Nick is
on the money....it's quite easy to get a set of "tri-focals".

You can get the same 'reading' prescription ground into a small
the top of the lens that you have at the bottom.
Reading overhead mounted displays and their associated controls has
problem for me because I use bifocals.
