• The last Wednesday Night race was the Pursuit Race on June 26, and we squeaked by with barely enough wind.
• The last regular Wednesday Night race (that counts in the series) was almost 1 month ago on June 19.
• Total of 18 Wednesday Night races on our schedule, 2 are Pursuit Races, and 16 series races.
• 10 Wednesdays have come and gone: 5 Series Races completed. 1 Pursuit Race completed. 4 races abandoned.
• 8 Wednesdays to come: 7 Series Races through August 28th, 1 Pursuit Race September 4.

The Fleet Champ series requires competing in a minimum of 20 races.. If you compete in all the possible Wednesday series races, that would be a maximum of 12 races (assuming we have wind throughout the rest of July and August). So to become Fleet Champ, you still need at least 8 other races -- Sunday races, NBC regattas, or HRYRA regattas.

Get your 20 races: come on out for NBC's Guy Moulton Regatta this weekend (July 13 &14); Saturday 11 am start, Sunday 10 am start.  (see who else may race and update your RACING RSVP).

Remember, for the Fleet Champ, all your races count (whether Spinnaker Division or Non-Spinnaker Division), so you can compete in Wednesday Spinnaker, and in Non-Spinnaker on weekends (e.g. if you have less crew). And under our Cox-Sprague scoring, more competitors in your race means higher points.
