From Paul Desjardins and Mona Cavallero:
11/30/14 - Stratford, Long Beach -- 9:15 AM; At the end of the parking
lot, a snowy owl is being seen in the marsh sitting on a log.  Thanks
to a birder named Jane(sp?) already on the scene who spotted it first.

From Mardi & Towny Dickinson:
11/30/14 - Stratford, long Beach -- 1:30PM; SNOWY OWL overlooking
marsh on right NW 320, in front of white storage units heading towards
long beach. Standing tall, stretching, preening & aware appears
relaxed.

From Chris Elphick:
11/30/14 - Storrs, UConn campus -- no Snowy Owl on Horsebarn Hill, but
5 Wilson's Snipe, 8+ American Pipits, 1 Eastern Meadowlark.

From Preston Lust:
11/30/14 - Westport, Sherwood Island -- WILSON'S SNIPE flushed by the
side of the model airplane field.

From Fran and Tom Holloway:
11/30/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- 20+ SNOW BUNTINGS.
Others reported seeing 2 LAPLAND LONGSPURS earlier in the morning.

From John Oshlick:
11/30/14 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park -- Male Common Eider at the
end of the moraine trail and an American Bittern well hidden in the
boulder pond.

From Chris Loscalzo and Marianne Vahey:
11/30/14 - West Haven, Sandy Point and harbor -- one female REDHEAD,
one female Northern Pintail (in a raft of Greater Scaup).
Interestingly, we could not locate the drake Redhead found by Nick B a
few days ago.  Also, two SEASIDE SPARROWS were seen in the marsh. They
came up to the top of the grass in response to pishing.  A late date
for this species.

From Peter DeGennaro:
11/30/14 - Stratford, private yard -- My dad and I had the Rufous
Hummingbird today at about 11:15. Stayed for about a minute on the
feeder. Only other notable bird was a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.

From John and Anders Ogren:
11/30/14 - Old Saybrook, Otter Cove -- Winter Wren.
Maynard's Pond -- Fox Sparrow.

From Roy Zartarian:

FALCON perched at the usual spot on the antenna tower

the Great Marsh.  Thanks to M&T Dickinson.
