10/10  Just got back from a morning walk at Poquonnock River Walkway which is
not far up the road from Bluff Point and is basically a boardwalk along the
river and a small park at the beginning.  I had never been here before.  It is
a beautiful tranquil spot in the middle of suburbia.  Highlights were:  2 imm.
WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS, juncos, white-throated sparrows, chipping sparrows,
song sparrows, 1 osprey with fish in tow, 1 merlin,  several yellow-rumped
warblers, and 1 ruby-crowned kinglet.  Many red-winged blackbirds still remain
and there were at least 2 towhees calling.
