Visitors:
A big thank you to Andrew Sturgess for all his help and support this
season. Thanks so much Andy.
Weather:
About as cold as could be, the northwest wind was howling and the
temperature never rose above freezing all day. The skies started clear but
as the day progressed more and more clouds began drifting into the viewing
area.
Raptor Observations:
Not many raptors moving today but certainly a few more than we've been
seeing recently. Red-tailed Hawks dominated the totals and a nice mix of
other species were also heard from. An adult Peregrine Falcon gave us a
midday flyby, heading northeast and therefore remaining off the count
sheet.
Non-raptor Observations:
Not much of note.
Predictions:
Overcast with highs in the low 30s, light southwest wind and a 50 percent
chance of snow.
