Georgs,
The best and closest place for anchoring near Kent Narrows is in Marshy Creek
just outside Lippincott Marina.
A "local" place for eating would be the Island Inn, in the center of the
Island. As Frank Burrows said, the Narrows Restaurant has seafood to die for.
I have not had better "cream of crab soup" anywhere Period.
Spots for anchoring could be: Dividing Creek off The Wye River; Leeds creek;
Leadenham Creek; and in the Chester River: Off Cackaway Island, Corsica river
and langford creek. A little sightseeing: Go to Chestertown. Nice Marina and
good eating in town at the Imperial Hotel.
When getting close to this area, give us a ring! We'll be happy to show you
around or help with groceries etc.
