Today I spent a few hours birding a bunch of spots within the
Fairfield area. Highlights below:

Sherman:
1 Sharp-shinned Hawk
(Also: two possible Common Redpolls that flew into a tree. They were
to far to make a conclusive ID, but they had whitish underparts and
streaking on the sides and were the shape of a Carduelis finch)

Ash Creek:
2 Redheads continue (male/female) -- Upper portion seen from behind
the Jewish home for the elderly; with Canvasbacks
18 Canvasback
1 Cooper's Hawk
12+ American Tree Sparrows -- Penfield Mils Open Space

South Pine Creek Meadows Open Space:
1 Great Blue Heron
1 Red-breasted Nuthatch

Golf Course on Old Dam Road:
1 Cackling Goose--with a flock of 100+ Canada Geese

Old Dam Road:
1 Red-shouldered Hawk
1 Red-breasted Nuthatch
