We will be in Mobile Bay in a few days and wonder if the cut between Pinto Island and Little Sand Island is passable. Only reference we have is the Northern Gulf Coast Cruising guide by Claiborne Young which limits it to boats with 3.5' draft and 36'. We'll also check with BoatUS when we arrive.
