Whilst attending a meeting at the 22nd floor of Metro Hall (sadly with my back facing the large window which faced east), Mike Gurr of MNR noted a peregrine falcon soaring quickly towards the building and then over top. Later seen a couple of times briefly in the distance, and landing once on the far east side of the Hilton Hotel.

While visiting the Leslie Spit area on Sunday (Feb 21st)my friend and I were alerted to the presence of a peregrine falcon in the area by another bird enthusiast. We left the area feeling disappointed that we did not find it but as we drove north a short distance from the spit we did catch sight of him perched atop a young tree along the bicycle path on the east side.
