WWVB Damaged Indefinitely 60 kHz
Extreme winds on 7 April that damaged one half of the phased array,
WWVB now operating stand alone helix match and top hap (sic) antenna,
transmitter still operating nominally feeding one side summed to
half power from normal.

Never attribute to malice what can adequately be explained by incompetence.
Poul-Henning sent a corrected URL for the WWVB announcement off the air.
It should be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_R7tHUArEI

Knew about this soon after it happened from Dave W0DAS. 100 mph winds
took down one corner of the South antenna hat. Signal is for now
probably about 3 dB down. Still better than the original - the antenna
and amplifier rework had amounted to about 7dB increase. We are told
parts are on order.
Being in the deep-fringe of New Hampshire, some of my clocks are having
trouble syncing.
