Tropical storm Hanna whipped over us with virtually no wind, but dumped a lot of
rain.  I checked Greenwich Point at early light and nothing unusual.  Of a little note,
2 flocks of about 60 Laughing Gulls on the beach.

Later in the morning, leading a small "First Sundays" group, we had the following:
4-5 American Redstarts
Black & white Warbler (with more white than black, a beautiful bird with
very fresh and clean plumage.)
Eastern Wood Pewee
Yellow-bellied Flycatcher
2-3 Common Yellowthroats
Baltimore Oriole
Least Flycatcher
Cooper's Hawk
Not a single shorebird in sight.

From Meredith Sampson:

9/7 Old Greenwich, Greenwich Point -- YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER.
