BEST WISHES FOR A SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL EVENT...

... to all Gators marathoning, refrigagating, looping, or otherwise raising
their heart rates this weekend!

We'll be racing with the fondest of memories of Brian Kozera and hopeful
happy thoughts of events to come with Keith Ho.  Brian and Keith are both
past participants in our Rehoboth Beach weekend  festivities with each
having reigned as "last Gator out of the water" at the RefrigaGator Swim.

Many of us will be sporting a "BK 206" tattoo (find me if you need one) and
some may also scribble a "KH" or "Keith 💚" or "HOpe" alongside it!  And
we'll also be thinking of Kristin Kozera and Katie Ho and their families
and past Rehoboth Seashore Half Marathon runner, Kristen Oswald.

Regarding our weekend best wishes, as always, if you have ANY type of event
and are not included in this post, please post a comment so that we can
also send good Gator vibes your way.

Weekend Workouts: We have one workout option over the weekend; "yes" there
is actually an indoor swim activity this weekend, too...

• Sunday 12/3, 11:15am-12:15pm, Spring Valley YMCA indoor lap pool:
Uncoached group swim workout.  Participate and earn the Gators Pizza Club
"Hot Peppers Topping"!

Weekend Events: Here's where our athletes are racing; all will earn the
Pizza Club "Double Cheese Topping"...

Saturday, December 3:

• SIGNATURE CLUB EVENT/SPONSOR EVENT: Rehoboth Beach Seashore Marathon and
Half Marathon (Rehoboth Beach, DE): It's a little known fact that for the
first weekend in December, gators migrate south to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
to roam the roads, swim in the sea, patron the Purple Parrot, and wholly
immerse in holiday festiveness.  This year there will be 13 roamers
accompanied by many supporters.  Our roamers/runners, all participating in
the half marathon, include Dre Barber, Kerri Brannen, Kristie Bruno (FIRST
half marathon!), Lylly Darling, Joe DeNicola, Gleb Epelbaum, Susan Flavin,
Christa Kachline, Sheri Kuss (and Ryan), Don Mack, Karen McIntyre, David
Stone, and Megan Stone.  Known supporters include Angela Epelbaum, Diane
Lynch Weiss, and Gina Stango (and Jeff).  Go Gators!

Sunday, December 4:

• The Loop Race (Philadelphia, PA): While many of us will be in Delaware,
Maureen Hoffman will be representing the Gators in Pennsylvania in this
classic event advertised as "The Oldest Race in Philadelphia" having
started in 1971.  Along the 8.4 mile course are many historic sites
including the Rocky Statue and the Art Museum steps, the East Falls Bridge,
the Laurel Hill Cemetery, the Strawberry Mansion Bridge, and Boat House
Row.  Go Maureen!

• SIGNATURE CLUB EVENT: The RefrigaGator Swim (Atlantic Ocean, Rehoboth
Beach, DE): At last count we have 9 Gators on the "submerge list" for what
we like to advertise as our lowest entry fee/shortest event of the year!
Prior to the swim we'll gather for breakfast (and to see if we can find our
"Chomp!" dollar bill) and photos and also some pre-race carb loading and
hydration.  Our 2022 RefrigaGator swimmers are Dre Barber (FIRST timer!),
Kristie Bruno (FIRST timer!), Joe DeNicola (multi-year veteran), Gleb
Epelbaum (FIRST timer!), Susan Flavin (multi-year veteran, hopefully
escorted by Adam), Don Mack (founding member), Karen McIntyre (veteran),
Gina Stango (multi-year veteran),  David Stone (FIRST timer!), and possibly
Ryan Kuss.  Jeffrey Stango will once again handle directorial / production
/ choreographic / screenwriting / cinematography / best boy
responsibilities, so watch for the final production coming to a Facebook
group near you! Registration for this event does not close and we welcome
gametime adrenaline filled decisions to join us!

Gator Done, have fun, then drink a beer! 💚BK🍺
