SUMMARY OF UPCOMING ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS... The outpouring of love for Brian, Kristin, and their daughters is a testament of how important Brian and his family are to all of us as well as the many organizations in which Brian was involved. As there has been a lot of information shared in the past 24 hours, following is a brief summary of upcoming activities, including a few workout cancellations, to help guide you over the next week; note that if a workout is not listed, it will take place (see Monday's "This Week in Tri Club" for details)... • Wednesday 8/17, 5pm-7pm: We are canceling our Wednesday night YMCA swim workout and replacing it with the Mid-Atlantic Multisport open water swim. Bill Hauser has very graciously invited all Gators, regardless of whether or not you have a season pass, to be his guests at the Marsh Creek swim location anytime between 5pm-7pm to meet/gather and, if you'd like, swim. See "Event" for additional details... https://www.facebook.com/events/734513007638397 • Thursday 8/18, 7pm: We are meeting at the Spring Valley YMCA at 7pm to remember Brian and if anyone would like to gather afterwards, we are tentatively planning to meet at the Railroad Street Bar & Grille; this is open to all members of our Gators Facebook group including our members and sponsors (you do NOT have to be a Y member to attend). There will likely be grief counselors on hand; more details will be shared soon. Also, Gators Jennifer Gehret and Cindy Kelecic have professional experience in this area and both have offered their assistance with one-on-one discussions; you can contact them directly. Germantown Pike in Norristown. Our Monday evening swim workout is canceled. • Tuesday 8/23: A second viewing will take place between 9am-11am followed by a service and procession to the cemetery. As more details become available we will share them. Our Tuesday morning swim workout is canceled. There will be more information on the above activities and perhaps additional activities added.
