‘Dawgs,

Another regular season is in the books and it’s time for the playoffs!  As usual, there were a few ties to be broken, including a 4-way tie for the 12th and last playoff spot.  Our tiebreakers are: 1) participation points, 2) Ryder Cup points, and finally, coin flip.  Here’s how they shook out this year:

Vince and Jon were tied for second with 47 points, Vince won the RC tiebreaker 10-8

Trent and Greg were tied for fifth with 39 points, Trent won the Participation tiebreaker 18-16

Steve and Bobby were tied for 7th place with 38 points, Steve won the RC tiebreaker 8-4

Reed and Paul were tied for 9th place with 37 points, Reed won the Participation tiebreaker 18-12

Finally, Dave, Gary, Victor and Phil were tied for the 12th and last spot with 35 points.  Phil was knocked out on the first tiebreaker, Participation 14-16, Dave won the RC tiebreaker with 10 points to Gary’s 9 and Victor’s 8.

The bracket is up on the Road Dawgs’ website.  First round matches should be completed by 12/8.  As usual, matches are played at LI and at any course the opponents agree upon. If they cannot agree, the match must be played on the Ike.
