Plegadis ibis -- Point Pelee

At 6:30 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) I had a dark ibis descend over the gate entrance at PPNP into Sanctuary Pond.  Despite a thorough search we could not find it perched, but there is extensive mudflats amongst the cattails where it might have been hiding.
