We're having a similar experience here in Chester. Two adults and four
youngers - they come around 7am and leave after a short visit. Kind of
surprising that they don't clean out the suet and seed; much more polite
than the squirrels, that's for sure!

We also have a pair of fish crows visiting every day - not at the same
time as the American crows. They tend to come around the same time of
year though, every summer. The other morning, one of the fish crows
perched on top of our chimney and honked away, and the sound amplified
right down our chimney and into the living room. Scared the cat!

For the past several weeks, we have been seeing a group of 6-10 crows
moving
into our yard once or twice a day. I am assuming that they are a family
group of adults and fledglings. We had 6 crows on our feeder today
eating
both suet and seeds. I have never seen crows on the feeder before. After
15 to 20 minutes, they all fly off in a group. I was wondering if anyone
else has seen this behavior. Robert White
