from Gary & CJ Lemmon 1/14/2009, Eden VT.  Northern Hawk Owl continues on Belvidere Rd (VT118) in Eden.  Arrived around noon and the owl was perched in the top of a spruce tree right behind the black mail box #1111.  Temp was 0 degrees, no wind, sunny with nice blue sky.  We were the only birders there for about an hour before a local stopped by.  Very easy to find but a long ride from New Haven.  If you are planning to go see Phil Asprelli's message from yesterday.  Temps there are predicted to go to -30 tonight so dress warm.
