Hi,

I am doing some mobile sensing stuff with E-310. So I am in need of using
portable power supply. Since the voltage rating id 5-15V, can I power it up
using the USB port?

Hello Prabhu Janakaraj:

No, the E310 cannot be run from USB bus power. It needs the external DC
power supply.

Later this year, sometime in the Fall, we will be releasing an E310 with an
internal battery, which would not need an external DC power supply. This
might be a good match for your mobile application. I can't provide any
specifications about the battery at the moment, but please feel free to
check back with me later this summer. I should be able to give you more
specific information then.
