Have a vacuum gauge on top of Racor 500 filter. Gauge seems to have
bubble in it near top of gauge face and very slight weeping of fluid
around outer metal rim (where glass face is retained). Gauge does not
seem to read accurately. What is happening and how to fix?

The liquid filled Racor gauges always have a air bubble at the top. Also if
the gauge does not return to zero then the instructions tell you to lift
the little rubber plug at the top and then the gauge should zero out. I
learned this by returning the gauge and after I installed the second one I
got around to reading the instructions.
