Maybe good band conditions???
See http://aprs.mountainlake.k12.mn.us http://aprs.mountainlake.k12.mn.us/
NG0E’s VHF Propagation Map http://aprs.mountainlake.k12.mn.us/ displays current VHF band openings during the past hour.
Anyone use this site much? How well does it work?
Will be interesting to see if the temperature changes this week affect/increase the beacon reports.

We do use it Joe and it works however it seems if you see a long path I tend to require it to show me more than one station reporting that condition, The database of APRS has mistakes at times that lie about actual conditions. Still if you judge the number of reports from two directions you can usually see that it is correct. I do believe some of the single long reports could have been MS but no way to judge those.

Reason for some of the long distances on APRS, is some of the data is
provided through digis/Igates that do not add themselves correctly when
forwarding the data.
