Dear Friends of the Society for Song, Yuan, and Conquest Dynasties
Studies,
The AAS annual conference is almost upon us, and, like the conference,
SSYCDS will be there (virtually) to support you and your research. I
wanted to reach out with a couple of quick announcements as we prepare
for this event.
AAS Registration
Today, February 28, is the officially the LAST DAY to register for the
annual conference at the STANDARD rate of $123 for regular AAS Members
and $45 for students. If you would like to attend the official panels,
you can register today on the AAS website by following this LINK [1].
Save the dates/times:
SSYCDS Annual Meeting [2]
Our annual meeting will take place on Wednesday, March 24, from
6:30-8:30 pm EDT. The meeting is an opportunity to connect with friends
old and new and learn of recent scholarship in the field. We will also
be introducing new members of the Society leadership team. This event is
free and open to the public--you do not need to be an AAS member, or
register for the conference, to attend our annual meeting. The link to
the ZOOM meeting will be available in the coming weeks. Please join us
and share news of your recent research projects!
