Eurasian Wigeon (Frontenac): Dianne Croteau and Richard Brault photographed
one at Marshlands CA in Kingston on October 1.
Eared Grebe (Elgin): Michele Carnerie found one at Aylmer Sewage Lagoons on
October 1.
LIMPKIN (Lanark): The Mississippi River bird was reported this week by Mike
and Britta Runtz on October 1.
American Avocet (Simcoe): Anthony Taliana photographed three at Patterson
Park in Port McNicoll on October 1.
Western Sandpiper (Northumberland): A juvenile was seen by several
observers on Gull Island in Presqu'ile PP October 1 and 5.
Sabine's Gull (Niagara): Rafael Fernandes reported one from
Niagara-on-the-Lake on October 1.
LITTLE BLUE HERON (Simcoe): Jack Starret found an immature at Collingwood
Harbour on September 29 that was seen by many to at least October 3.
YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (Simcoe): Nancye Lance found one at
Penetanguishene Bay on October 5 that was seen by many the same day.
YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON (Toronto): One bird continued at Colonel Sam
Smith Park this week.
Black Vulture (Niagara): MIchael Kirchin reported one from Queenston on
September 30.
Swainson's Hawk (York): Scott Rogers reported one near Newmarket on
September 29.
