(in a flock of 50+ Horned Larks) in the Nature Center Parking lot.

on the edge of the marsh across the river in Milford.
Birdseye Boat Ramp -- 11:45 AM to 1 PM; at least two Snowy Owls
intermittently visible in the marsh across the river in Milford.

01/19/14 - Woodbridge, Konolds Pond -- one adult TRUMPETER SWAN.
Undoubtedly, the same bird as last year and one of the pair from the
previous two years.  The bird(s) have returned earlier each year.
Also, two Black Vultures.

off the dirt Rd I believe grit or salt.

Northern Shoveler.  For those not familiar with the location look up
20 Stony Brook Road; it will bring you right to best viewing location.

NORTHERN SHOVELER continue.
Woodbridge, Konolds Pond -- 3:00 PM; 1TRUMPETER SWAN on the far north
side of the pond, 1 PEREGRINE FALCON, and 2 COMMON RAVEN.
Stratford, Stratford Point -- 4 PM; 2 EURASIAN WIGEON drakes with 2
possible American x Eurasian Wigeon hybrids (and a number of American
wigeon).  A cold and bitter wind was also there.

01/19/14 - Norwalk, 14 Acre Pond -- 9:30 AM; Northern Shoveler and
Blue-winged Teal still there.

01/19/14 - Wallingford, North Farm's Reservoir -- When I arrived at
11:00am 90% of the swans were in a sleeping mode. I focused my scope
on one that I thought was the Tundra. After about 40 minutes it raised
it's head and stood for about a minute and my suspicion was confirmed.
Also a lone male Redhead swimming with Ring-necked Ducks.
