Mark asked:  Truce?

Scott replies: No way you Cat lover!  Just kidding, no truce necessary.  I
agree 100% with your points, and they are well said.  I guess what got me
was going to the site and seeing, oh God, A cat!  So, I have made my point,
and I agree with you.  Also, you will find I'm very critical of "Salesmen"
that try to turn a defect into a feature.  Heck Jim Leishman so much as
called me a jerk by saying my boat wandered like a drunken sailor, and then
went on to tell me I had air in my steering lines!  I found out later this
is a common problem with displacement boats that carry the fullness of the
hull too far aft, but far be it from me to tell the esteemed Jim Leishman
that the N40 suffers from a design tradeoff "property".  I agree 100% that
having the storage and fuel capacity is wonderful, and my engine room is big
enough for a wing engine, so I'm not bitching, just observing.  Anyway, in
summary I'm sure the cat will appeal to many people and if it gets them out
there living their dream, Fantastic!!!

I still have yet to post my thoughts on a get home engine, but I will after
the wife and I look through about 1,000 pictures and send them off in email!

Take care, respectfully,
