Official Counter: Calvin Brennan
Observers: Jim Maki, Terry Angevine, Walt Pawloski
Weather:
Todays conditions were generally sunny with extensive high cirrus. Winds
were moderate out of the southwest. Some heavier cloud cover moved into
the area during the afternoon ahead of tonights forecast rain.
Observations:
The flight was quite slow overall with most birds passing well to the north
of the count area. There were however some excellent close views of
several of the raptors including the only Golden Eagle recorded for the
day and an adult female Northern Goshawk.
