Learn Ceramics from Risa Kaneko! Six Week Session $159 Our Ceramics Artist will you give you step-by-step instructions on coiling, slab methods, wheel thrown pots and sculpting. The various decorating techniques taught include sgraffito, slip-painting, glazing and under glazing. This course concentrates on three-dimensional art-sculpture and pot-making; with an emphasis on technical skills and artistic expression. Classes are designed to be relaxing and fun, with all the support and educational guidance needed to develop quality work and gain skills working with clay. Students are encouraged to develop their own styles and techniques. For those with experience, we can expand and develop your skills, sharing tips for throwing, glazing and experimenting with new materials.
