Of interest to any CT birders interested in pelagics on the West Coast, in addition to the classic Monterey trips, people should be aware of the fantastic trips run by top-birder, Alvaro Jaramillo, out of Half Moon Bay near San Francisco that offer superb wildlife experiences that are a little cheaper and closer to San Francisco than Monterey that may offer the traveler a little more flexibility when planning a west coast assault.
