Key Updates and New Instructions:

  • Posting to the List: To share environmental news, events, or opportunities, send an email to tacoma-environews@list.cityoftacoma.orgmailto:tacoma-environews@list.cityoftacoma.org. Your message will be reviewed before distribution to all subscribers to ensure it aligns with the list’s purpose.
  • Moderation: City staff will moderate the list to maintain relevance and prevent off-topic content and/or misuse of the listserv.
  • Subscribe and Unsubscribe: You can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time by emailing tacoma-environews-request@list.cityoftacoma.orgmailto:tacoma-environews-request@list.cityoftacoma.org with "subscribe" or "unsubscribe" in the subject line. Do not include any other text or automatic signatures in the body of the message.
  • Timing for Distribution: Submitted messages will be reviewed and distributed approximately every 3-4 business days. However, moderators cannot guarantee that messages will be distributed prior to events or within less than 7 days. If your message is time-sensitive, please plan accordingly.
