I am going to attempt to adjust it using the Power Squadron booklet next boat visit.
I'd be interested in hearing how your adjustment works out. I'm
contemplating trying to swing my Ritchie compass using the instructions
in the manual. I know it's off by 10 deg. or more on some headings, and
figured I'd try it myself before either replacing it or trying to hire a
pro.
