My generator will run for about 15 minutes and then shutdown. I understand
the normal operatingtemperature is 170 - 190 degrees. Thetemperature when it
shuts down is +/- 200 degrees so the temperature safetysensor is shutting it
down. Previously, the generator worked great until I had fuel issues (resolved
with new smallfilter in fuel lift pump). When that wasfixe I also changed the
raw water impeller and thermostat and checked/cleanedthe heat exchanger b
the tubes are clear. There seems to be plenty water going through the sea
water side. What I should check / do next? THANKS in advance for your time
andsuggestions.

Hi Ken
I have a Northern Lights set up. However a loose earth wire was making my
sensor shut the engine down. If you have a infra red temperature gun use it
to check near where the probe is mounted to see if the temp there agrees
with what the gauge is telling you.
Good luck
