Total observation time: 8 hours
Official Counter: Chris Burris, Su Ross-Redmond
Observers: Ronnie Goodhand
Visitors:
A few throughout the day.
Weather:
The day began clear and turned partly cloudy, then overcast. Temps from 5c
to 14C. Winds were stiff WNW and, despite predictions, seemed to be mostly
W by end of observation period.
Raptor Observations:
An okay start, but still disappointing for Day 3 of "NorthWestish" winds in
mid-October. A late afternoon juvenile Golden Eagle was one of the few
highlights along with a single Osprey.
Non-raptor Observations:

Predictions:
The forecast is for moderate N, switching to NW and sun -- it's worth a
shot.
