Happy Friday LSR and the start of Spring Break,

The neighborhood is starting to look really good as many are getting out to do spring yard work to make their curb appeal even better.  Thank you for taking the time and caring about our neighborhood.  You make this a great place to live and call home.

First a few friendly reminders:
Neighborhood Garage Sale- March 17th.  8:00 to 1:00
Easter/ Spring Celebration- Park- March 24th.  Hungry Horse catering.  Get your RSVPs back to Patty Dellocono.
New Vendor Code- 168781- effective March 1st.
2- Roll offs will be placed in the neighborhood April 13th - 16th for spring cleanup.  One located at each end of our community.  More details coming.
I want to give everyone an update on our neighborhood waste and recycling billing and corrections being made.  It appears that some homeowners were inadvertently charged additional for services starting Dec of last year.  No rhyme or reason for who was charged what.  Some more than others.  We have contacted Vaquero and this is being corrected.  Your statements will be adjusted with the credit for the overcharge.

For clarity, LSR HOA entered into a 3 year agreement with Vaquero effective April 1st, 2017 going through April 30th, 2020.  Each year, as per our contract, there will be an adjustment based on their customer price index.  For LSR, that is 2.2% or $1.39 per quarter.

What that means to each of us is that through March 31st, 2018, our agreement is for a $63 charge plus tax.  That is the rate for one 96 gallon waste container and one 96 gallon recycle container.  If you were billed incorrectly, your bill will be adjusted back to that $63.00 rate during that time frame.

Starting April 1st, our new adjusted rate will be $64.39 per quarter plus tax.  This was part of the original contract and accounts for the 2.2% CPI.  That adjustment is to cover cost of living, higher fuel costs and consumables on vehicles.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Vaquero at 210.658.0487.  They are aware and working to correct their error.  They apologize for any inconvenience and want to ensure we are pleased and that they deliver exceptional service.
