Dear all,
Has anyone recently had any success with obtaining permissions for a reproduction from the Palace Museum in Beijing? I filled out the document on their Website, and emailed it to the listed address. I sent a first request six weeks ago, sent a reminder three weeks ago, but have yet to hear back.
Any hints or direct contact information would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance,
Hilde

The contact person in charge of photo permission in Beijing Gugong is Ms.
ZHANG Ying. Her email is: imageservices@163.com
In my recent experiences acquiring digital images and permission paperwork
with the Beijing Gugong, it's been very efficient. The price charged for
each image is $30, which is one of the cheapest among the museums and
publisher in China.

Colleagues:
I have also recently dealt with Ms. Zhang Ying at the Gugong (re digital
images,
permissions, and so on), and found her to be most efficient and thoroughly
professional.
