3/15  Woodbridge, Konold's Pond
9:45AM-10:20AM
I made a visit to Konold's Pond in Woodbridge this morning. Thanks to Chris
L. for hints on parking.
I didn't see the Redhead but I don't have a scope.
However I did get great views of a Great Egret with its wings falling at its
side all feathered out;  2 Great Blue herons (possibly a nesting pair)-one
in the tree on the island and one on the far west shore of the pond, about 6
Buffleheads,  many mallards, Ring necked ducks (around 50) 2 Mute Swans,
Canada geese, and a smattering of gulls.
I looked around for the ravens and peregrines, but didn't catch a view of
them either.
But a nice collection of ducks in the pond.
