8/10 Stratford, Short Beach. Now (4:10)- Male White-winged Scoter, 6 Brant on Milford Pt nesting bar. Black Tern foraging at river mouth with tern flock. Pectoral Sandpiper on golf course with many usual shorebirds. Another on nearby airport with 100s of shorebirds.
It poured here an hour ago.

I was at Hammo at the start of the storm and stayed until visibility got to near zero.
Likely hybrid Tricolored x Little Blue Heron, 2 juv Little Blues, an adult Little Blue and a Snowy Egret with an injured leg at the Boulder pond, many Least Sandpipers both adult and juv, Semipalmated Sand., Semipalmated Plovers, Killdeer, four Lesser Yellowlegs, and about a dozen Laughing Gulls were in the East Beach area. Prior to the storm, several thosand Tree Swallows were working through the park.
