8/10 Stratford, Short Beach. Now (4:10)- Male White-winged Scoter, 6 Brant on Milford Pt nesting bar. Black Tern foraging at river mouth with tern flock. I was at Hammo at the start of the storm and stayed until visibility got to near zero. Likely hybrid Tricolored x Little Blue Heron, 2 juv Little Blues, an adult Little Blue and a Snowy Egret with an injured leg at the Boulder pond, many Least Sandpipers both adult and juv, Semipalmated Sand., Semipalmated Plovers, Killdeer, four Lesser Yellowlegs, and about a dozen Laughing Gulls were in the East Beach area.
