the bay here, Tarpon Basin particularly, is down to 50 degrees today. This basin is pretty shallow and temperatures that are monitored daily by Dolphins Cove can change 8 degrees overnite. three days ago, fish were dieing from the cold. Haven't been out since but I am sure it's worse. large barracuda's swimming on the surface, staggering . Many other species running into walls, bladders out of wack, etc. Manatee's quite feeding at water temperatures of 68 degrees!
