Gaining Control of Your Behavior: Our conscious thinking mind does not
control many of our actions. People usually do not want to procrastinate,
to be fearful, to overeat, to smoke and so on. There is an unconscious
engine that drives much of our behavior. Fortunately, hypnosis is a highly
efficient system to change thoughts, feelings and behavior which are under
the control of the unconscious mind.

Our information about the world arrives through our five senses, what we
see, hear, smell, taste and touch. By recalling memories and using our
imagination, we can recreate past mental experiences of what have seen,

Advances in Hypnosis: Hypnosis is making great advances in acceptance by
the public as a valid healing modality. Also, there is a rapidly
accelerating number of new hypnotists and hypnotherapists. I see this in
large part due to more women having entered the profession and a greater
use of digital marketing of hypnosis. Large hypnosis conventions now have
up to two-thirds women in attendance. When I started my hypnosis studies in
the early 1960’s, it was rare to find a female hypnotist. The few that
entered the profession were mostly hypnosis entertainers. Today, women are
practising hypnosis as entertainers on cruise ships, night clubs,
conventions and outdoor fairs, but most are practising clinical hypnosis to
help people to be healthier, happier and more successful.

“I make a commitment to the person in the mirror and promise I will do
whatever it takes to be …”

“Exercise is for a lifetime.”

“My body hears everything I say.” (Never repeat instructions to yourself
such as “that gives me a headache; he will give me a heart attack; he gives
me high blood pressure; he is a pain in the neck or a pain in the back; she
makes me sick,” etc. You could develop exactly what you suggest. It is
called organ language. We tend to believe what we hear over and over).

Did you know? Cancer Research UK states that “some people with cancer use
hypnotherapy to help them to relax and cope with symptoms and treatment.”
Hypnosis is a helpful therapeutic technique used in psychology, medicine
and dentistry. Many sports celebrities use hypnosis for maximum performance.

Anxiety and sleep: Many people are experiencing increasing challenges
coping with fear of the future, work and financial security, work safety,
and boredom causing difficulties falling asleep, staying asleep or
experiencing disturbing dreams. The result is awakening feeling tired,
irritable and lacking concentration. Helpful remedies can include some type
of exercise during the day; staying off of television and other screens at
least one hour before bedtime; having a nice warm bath; lying in bed and
tensing up parts of your body one at a time (hands, feet, legs, arms,
stomach, face, shoulders, etc. Holding each body part tight for a few
seconds; noticing the feeling of tension; letting go and resting a few
seconds between exercises). Follow up with long, slow, deep breaths in
through your nose and out through the mouth. Then, focus upon each body
part, toes to head, relaxing, melting down. Lastly, create a mental
vacation to a relaxing place with your imagination. Really be there. For

Taiwan and Low Covid-19: Over 10,000 fans recently attended the Ultra
Music Festival in Taiwan, in person. In October, Taiwan marked their 200th
consecutive day without a locally transmitted case of COVID-19 with just 38
cases in total reported in November. Their population is 23 million people.
Total Covid-19 Cases in Taiwan at the time of this article: 625; Deaths: 7;
Recovered 555. The statistics are far lower than the rest of the world
because of fast response to news from China; far in advance preparation and
readiness for a pandemic; transparency and efficient control.
