Tuesday equals throw-down.

5:00PM TUESDAYS AMICA'S

Finally.

NOAA Forecast: A 20 percent chance of showers after noon. Mostly sunny,
with a high near 74. Breezy, with a west southwest wind 5 to 10 mph
increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35
mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

That's two days away, but it's looking pretty good from here.

Sadly, we won't have Kevin Thomas to drive us into oblivion.  He's
recovering from a little MTB mishap.

So...now...who is going to instigate?

Please, can we all agree to punish each other?

I just can't seem to do it to myself.

I really need it.  Don't you?

Might I suggest the following route:

291 neutral roll-out (no-drop) to Stone Bridge.  285 to Centerville via
county backroad.  Flip it, and pick up the group (See Sprint Safety
Notes
Below).  Stop at 285 for a complete regroup.  Paceline 285 to
Poncha
Springs.  If we're feeling it, up 285 to Mear's Junction or Poncha Pass.
Back home.

Sprint Safety Notes:  When the group is charging back from Centerville to
pick you up, please treat it with a heavy dose of respect.  The group can
be travelling 30-40MPH on this section as it launches into a sprint.
Please don't casually U-Turn in front of the group causing emergency
braking.  Think of it as a shoulder-to-shoulder car speeding toward you.
Get all the way over to the shoulder with plenty of distance to spare.  We
will regroup at 285 - there is no urgency.  Everyone should be able to hang
onto the paceline all the way to the climb out of the river valley above
CR165.

Here we go.
