MS3106A-18-22SW ? that special type of connector will be very hard to get (if you do not find the original cable for this unit)! The insert is not standard: "Not MSA/B insert arrangements and polarization" This spec. is very old and even the US-Militaries did advice already decades of years ago to not use them anymore in new design. One problem with this old MIL-Spec. connectors is that these contain a lot of cadmium for protection against corrosion on their surface. Cadmium is known to be very toxic and is today forbidden to be applied. The cadmium is covered by a green chromate film, which is not very resistant when the surface is being scratched with some force. Technical details: It is a MIL-C-5015 Power type connector with large contacts, threaded coupling, straight plug and shell size 18, But this contact arrangement18-22 is not on all manufacturers lists. I guess that only some chinese manufacturer do still have them in the productiong line for spares, if at all. Attention to the 'W' in the type number which does mean that the insert is turned by 70 deg. to avoid to be connected with std. types used for other purposes...both mating part must have this marking! some techn. infos under http://www.in2connect.uk.com/c2/uploads/a5015%20ms1.pdf www.amphenol-aerospace.com/pdf/knowconnectors.pdf I would propose in this case to exchange the original parts with modern types fitting in this position and being qualified to be used for mains connection.
