No, this isn't a political statement!  All of last year, I didn't see a
single Wild Turkey in the Ottawa area; now I've seen them at two locations
over the past three days.

On Saturday morning, I spotted a single female at the corner of Herzberg &
Fourth Line at around 9:50 am.  Today, I came across a group of five right
beside the road at the southeast corner of Conroy and Davidson on the
southeast edge of Ottawa.

Directions:  Herzberg can be reached by going north on March Road from Hwy
417 (exit 138); to get to Conroy & Davidson from the 417, exit at Walkley
Road (exit 110), head west ~3 km to Conroy, then south ~3 km to Davidson
(distances rough - I'm going be memory rather than measurement!)

Good birding,
