Westport-Cockenoe Island- adult Bald Eagle,5 WW Scoters,5 RB Mergansers,15 Dunlin Norwalk-Canfield Marsh and environs- American Kestrel,16 BB Plovers,26 Greater Yellowlegs,Western Willet,5 Ruddy Turnstone,17 Dunlin,17 Nelson's Sparrows allowing us to come within 6 feet of them as they were sunning themselves and feeding. We had two large tight groups of 9 and 6 birds giving us stunning views in the morning sun and out in the open sitting on the top of spartina stalks.
