anytime diesel fuel sits for very long the heavier
fractions settle out to form a black sludge - probably the same
material
that you are describing as slime. The only remedy, as far as I
know, is
to take the filter apart and clean the bowl by hand
I don't consider 1 1/2 seasons a "very long time". especially since
Diesel bought at the same time and stored in red plastic 5 Gal fuel
containers was clean as a whistle. Main difference is that I added
Biobor JF to the actual tank but nothing to the fuel in the plastic
containers.
I did clean the Racor bowl by hand and changed the filter (2 micron).
Hence I repeat my earlier question: Has anybody else had this problem
of sudge after using Biobor?

P.s: My engine runs fine - no sludge ever got past the Racor!
