Mailing list changes

Our ISP has moved the febo.com mailing lists from the Mailman 2 software
we've been running for 15+ years to the newer Mailman 3.

You've been using the new software since yesterday so you'll see that
from the email side it looks virtually identical.

The web access side is quite different, though.  The interface is new
and spiffy and has eye candy.

The page that shows all the febo lists is simply:
https://lists.febo.com/
and the individual list pages are at:
https://lists.febo.com/list/<listname>.lists.febo.com

If and only if you want to change your list settings (like get a digest)
or see the archives for the private lists (see below), you need to
register at https://lists.febo.com -- click on the "Welcome Guest" at
the upper right, give your name (can be an alias), email, and password.
You'll get a confirmation email to respond to, and after that you can
change list settings by clicking on the "Welcome" link and selecting
"Edit Profile".

You may not know that we have an archive of all messages sent on the
lists.  The lwtg and flatfoot lists are private and only list
subscribers who have registered as above can see the archives for those
lists.  The time-nuts, volt-nuts, and mvus lists are public and anyone
can see the archives.

The archives are at:
https://lists.febo.com/empathy/list/<listname>.lists.febo.com

If you have registered and logged in, you can post messages directly
from the archive page, which is kind of cool.

One last thing -- because of all the attachments, the lwtg archive is
over 1 GB in size.  I have limited space allocated at our ISP, and I may
need to prune out the older attachments.  But for now, they are there
all the way back to the beginning.

There are a few other tricks that the new interface has up its sleeve,
but I won't confuse you with them for now.

John
