Great Win for Tulsa!!!

Attached you all will find an opinion issued by the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals in the O'Brien case today.  Interestingly enough, Mandate has issued as well.  The Court essentially applied the Bracker balancing test and held that the City of Tulsa had jurisdiction to prosecute Mr. O'Brien who was a member of the Osage Nation within the traditional boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

I know that this is an over-simplification of the holding and reasoning, but I wanted to get this opinion out to you as soon as possible.  Congratulations to the amazing attorneys for the City of Tulsa who have worked so hard on this issue!
