I'm curious as to if someone can explain why this fuel additive would keep the black smoke down? Who else has used other additives with similar results? I used Hammerdown regularly on a pair Detroit 453's.. It did indeed markedly reduce smoking, and staining of the stern with that black greasy smoke.Engines seemed to run smoother and quieter.. Ted
