He is the first African American cabinet officer on the state level. During the session, Melinda will demonstrate use of these Web 2.0 tools. The Web 2.0 tools highlighted are excellent for those teaching using the Flipped Classroom model, where the traditional method of teaching becomes inverted; content is accessed online, outside of the classroom; lectures are replaced with videos and podcasts; homework takes place in the classroom. Technology Tools Highlighted Jing- Screenshot and screencast software. ScreenCast-O-Matic- One-click screen capture recording. MentorMob- Content curation and sharing tool; create a playlist of your curated content. Prezi- Cloud based presentation tool. citeulike- Create fast and easy Bibliographies.
