04/15/14 - Stamford, Holly Pond -- 8:12 AM; Little Gull.  8:30 AM;
Little Gull flew off.

04/15/14 - Stratford/Milford, I-95 -- While driving across the
Housatonic river Tuesday morning, I saw a Northern Gannet close to
road level on the Moses Wheeler Bridge.  I tried to convince myself it
was a strange gull/ cormorant hybrid but it didn't work.  ;-)  Maybe
this rain is doing some funky things along the coast.

04/15/14 - Westport, Sherwood Island State Park -- 11:25 PM; Little
Gull on runway of the model airplane field (with many Bonaparte's
Gulls), but they all flew off toward the beach.  12:30; adult
non-breeding Little Gull (with 400 Bonaparte's Gulls), Iceland Gull,
on the East Beach.  Joined by a Glaucous Gull minutes later.

04/15/14 - Bridgeport, Seaside Park -- 2 PM, rain and wind storm (from
SSW at 25+ mph, big surf); 1 Northern Gannet, 1 Iceland Gull
(1st-cycle), 1100 Brant and hundreds of usual gulls on ballfields.
Zero Bonaparte's Gulls; zero shorebirds.
Stratford, Long Beach -- 1 Iceland Gull (1st-cycle).
Stratford, Birdseye Boatramp -- pair Blue-winged Teal.

04/14/14 - Madison, Hammonasset Beach State Park -- A pair of gorgeous
Brown Thrashers were actively working the parking circle at Middle
Beach for at least two hours, from mid to late afternoon.

west end by the first pavilion on the left across from the Swan Pond.

put on an amazing show flying and landing on various perches around
the East Beach parking lot.  Also Little Blue Heron.
