I just had point blank looks for well over a minute at a Le Conte's Sparrow at Marie Curtis Park. The bird was located along the paved path that borders the east side of the pond at the west end of the open meadow section of the park. Currently trying to relocate it to get photos. The bird was relocated ‎for about 5 minutes and has now moved back into the phragmites. Extreme patience is required. The Le Conte's is still present, giving magnificent views to a group of us here. It's at the southeast corner of the pond, just to the west of the paved path about a hundred metres west of the water tower. Rex Bartlett, Bob Cummings, and others have refound the Le Conte's Sparrow this morning. It is being quite skulky and staying low in the grass.
