Source for DC power connector on HP 5061 and 5065?

Subject line says it all... I'm looking for the DC input power connector
used on the HP 5065A Rb and 5061A Cs standards.  Finding the
manufacturer/part number would be great; a source would even be better
(a source giving them away for free would be best, but I won't insist on
that :-) ).

Thanks,

John

That looks like an Amphenol series 97 connector. They are sold by
Newark, Allied etc. I have one of the 6 pin versions in front of me, but
I don't know what the HP 3 pin number is off the top of my head.

Also known as MS3100 series.

I found the manual reference -- it's a Cannon 3106E-14S-5S; there's also
an Amphenol equivalent.  Unfortunately, the only one of the major houses
that even lists it is Newark, and they have a minimum purchase of 78
with lead time 122 days!  And, the 50-99 price is $43.00 (1 through 9 is
$67.03; those prices don't surprise me, really).

I'm looking for three of 'em, new or used, if anyone has a source!

Thanks,
John

John,

Try this one at Digikey:

97-3106A-14S-5S-ND at $15.47 each, hundreds in stock.

It's the non-mil-spec version but they are compatible. I just verified
compatibility on the 6 pin version, which for some reason we used a lot
of on our 12 meter radio telescope.

Hello,

Digikey has available the Amphenol 97-3106A-14S5S and the MS3106A-14S-5S
in single quantites at a quite lower price. If I'm right the difference
between the 'A' and the 'E' versions is environmental classification.

Regards,

Javier, EA1CRB

There's a guy called William Perry who supplies all sorts of Military
style connectors, at a reasonable price.  He does not have a web
presence,  and I don't have his phone number, but I'm sure google will
find him...
Yes:

William Perry Co in 702 (Rear) Beechwood Rd, Louisville, KY, 40207

Bendix, Cannon, ...

If Digikey is too steep.

Thanks, Dan!  The $15 each from Digi-key is reasonable enough (for me,
anyway) so I just finished ordering from them.

Purpose of the project, by the way, is to put my 5061A and 5065A on a
couple of 100 amp hour gel cells (in series) for backup power.

I believe Digikey and Mouser are also carrying them....
